A tragic road accident claimed the life of a woman in Barangay Doña Lucia, Mondragon, Northern Samar, after she was run over by a passenger bus on Monday afternoon.

According to initial reports from local authorities, the victim was crossing the national highway when the incident occurred. Eyewitnesses said the bus, which was traveling at moderate speed, appeared unable to stop in time, fatally striking the woman.
