In Loving Memory of Haly AnnaBella Florez
Kernersville, North Carolina
March 3, 2011 – June 1, 2025

With deepest sorrow and aching hearts, we announce the passing of our precious Haly AnnaBella Florez of Kernersville, North Carolina, who left this world far too soon on June 1, 2025, at just 14 years old. Though her time with us was brief, her impact was immeasurable. Haly was a bright light in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her — a beautiful soul whose laughter, warmth, and compassion could soften even the hardest days.

Born on March 3, 2011, Haly came into the world with eyes full of wonder and a heart already overflowing with love. She was a student at Kernersville Middle School, where she was known not only for her academic excellence but for her kindness and quiet strength. Teachers often spoke of her eagerness to help others, her thoughtful questions, and the way she carried herself with maturity beyond her years.

Haly had a deep love for animals, especially horses and dogs. She spent many weekends volunteering at a local animal shelter and dreamed of one day becoming a veterinarian. Her bedroom was adorned with drawings of animals, books on wildlife, and handwritten notes filled with hope and purpose. She was naturally artistic, often expressing herself through painting and poetry — creating vivid pieces that reflected both the beauty she saw in the world and the emotions she carried within.

Though young, Haly had an old soul. She was gentle and introspective, always observing the world with curiosity and care. Yet she was also full of life — known to break into dance at random moments, bake cupcakes for her family “just because,” or spend hours talking with her friends about their dreams, fears, and favorite music.

To her family, Haly was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin. Her parents, Miguel and Lauren Florez, describe her as their sunshine — a gift they never took for granted. Her little brother, Eli, looked up to her as a hero, and the bond they shared was as deep as it was joyful. The house will forever echo with the sound of their laughter, their shared games, and the sweet moments that made them inseparable.

She is survived by her loving parents, Miguel and Lauren Florez; her brother, Eli Florez; her grandparents, Daniel and Marisol Florez, and Thomas and Jeanette Morgan; her aunts and uncles; numerous cousins; her best friends from school and church; and her beloved golden retriever, Luna.

A candlelight vigil will be held in Haly’s honor on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Harmon Park in Kernersville. Friends and family are invited to bring photos, share memories, and celebrate the life of a girl who touched so many hearts. A memorial service will follow on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Grace Fellowship Church. All are welcome to attend and remember Haly’s beautiful spirit.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Haly now rests in eternal peace — free from pain, wrapped in love, and forever in the arms of God. Her life may have been short in years, but it was profound in love, laughter, and light.

Fly high, sweet Haly. You were, and always will be, deeply loved
