Search for Travis Decker Remains Top Priority
The search for Travis Decker remains a top priority for law enforcement. Authorities describe him as a highly trained survivalist who may be hiding in extremely remote areas, complicating efforts to locate him.
Investigators in Washington state have released Ring camera footage capturing Decker just days before he allegedly killed his three daughters. The footage is intended to help the public better identify him.
According to a statement from Whitney Decker, issued through her attorney, she believed her daughters—Paityn (9), Evelyn (
, and Olivia (5)—were in serious danger when Travis failed to return them following a scheduled visitation last Friday. She attributes the tragedy to multiple system failures.

“She really feels that the system let her children down,” said her attorney, Cozart. “It was the inadequacies in the services for our veterans that killed those children. That’s it.”
Whitney also expressed frustration that the circumstances of the case did not meet the criteria for an AMBER Alert, a decision she believes may have had tragic consequences.
“We may never know if it could’ve meant the difference between life and death for those girls … but it could’ve made a huge difference,” she said.
