Kathy road north of interstate 40 is shut down. We’re learning from sheriff deputies here that this was a shootout between people in cars Several vehicles were hit.
Three people were struck by gunfire….including two hospitalized with life threatening injuries.
Update: just spoke with the Sheriff….he says it was a shootout along Kathy Road near a farm supply store. He  told me that the crime scene stretches nearly a half a mile along the roadway  and possibly involved multiple weapons. The Sbi has been called in to assist with collecting evidence and help with investigation.  They expect to be out there for hours on the scene.
