Alexander, a Black male, was located and taken into custody without incident by the BPD Crime Reduction Team on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at approximately 9 a.m. in Trussville, Alabama. He was subsequently placed on a 48-hour felony extension at the Birmingham City Jail as detectives continued gathering evidence in the case.
