It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Kay Hollar, age 83, who departed this life on August 9, 2025. Born on May 30, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, Sandra was the cherished daughter of the late Carl Frazier and Edith (Johnstone) Frazier.
Sandra lived a life centered around faith, family, and kindness. She had an unwavering dedication to her loved ones and an open heart for all who knew her. Whether it was through her warm smile, her words of encouragement, or her quiet acts of service, she touched the lives of many and created memories that will be treasured for years to come.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her son, Michael, whose memory she carried in her heart every day.
Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her devoted husband, William Hollar; her children, Mark, Michelle (Ladawna), and Matthew (Karen); her grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher, and Brandon; and her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Bentley, Braeden, and Riley. To her family, she was not only a wife, mother, and grandmother, but also a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love.
Her life was marked by a deep appreciation for the simple joys — time with family, meaningful conversations, and the comfort of home. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her patience, and her ability to bring light to even the most difficult days.
Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Sandra to come together to share stories, honor her memory, and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
Though Sandra’s physical presence will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. May she rest peacefully, reunited with those who have gone before her, and may her loved ones find comfort in the memories they hold dear.
