With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy F. Lundy, age 60, of Tiffin, Ohio. Tim passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, surrounded by loved ones and the comfort of familiar faces.

Born and raised in Tiffin, Tim was a proud member of the community he called home his entire life. He was a 1983 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, where he built lifelong friendships and formed the foundation of a life rooted in loyalty, quiet strength, and a deeply personal sense of integrity.

Tim was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Fred Lundy and Susan (Beck) Cress, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became. Their memory remained close to Tim’s heart throughout his life, and those who knew him could always sense the deep respect he held for the values they instilled in him.

He is survived by two devoted brothers: Doug Lundy of Tiffin, and Joe Lundy (Jami) of Galloway, Ohio. Tim was a caring and thoughtful uncle to his nieces and nephews, who brought him immense joy and pride. Though he did not have children of his own, his love for his family ran deep, and he cherished the role of uncle, mentor, and friend in their lives.

Tim will be remembered for his gentle demeanor, quiet wisdom, and unwavering sense of loyalty. He was the type of person who showed up—without fanfare but with steadfast support—whether it was for a family gathering, a neighbor in need, or a friend going through tough times. Tim had a way of making those around him feel seen and appreciated, not through grand gestures, but through small, meaningful acts of kindness.

He found peace in life’s simpler pleasures: sitting on the porch during a warm summer evening, listening to his favorite music, working on small projects, or sharing stories with family and old friends. Though reserved by nature, Tim had a subtle wit and an endearing dry sense of humor that could brighten any conversation.

His absence leaves a quiet void that will be deeply felt by all who loved him. Though he may have preferred a life away from the spotlight, Tim’s impact on those around him was lasting and profound.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date to honor Tim’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Tim’s memory to a local charity of your choice or to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, whose staff provided Tim with care and compassion in his final days.

As we say goodbye, we remember Timothy F. Lundy not only for the years he lived but for the steady presence and gentle heart he brought into the world. May he rest in peace, reunited with his parents and forever in the hearts of those he left behind.
