Whittney Jeanne Pfefferkorn, 21, of Hamilton, Indiana passed away unexpectedly as a result of an ATV accident in Colorado on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Whittney was born on January 25, 2004, in Auburn, Indiana to Nathan J. and Alecia J. (Tyler) Pfefferkorn. She graduated from Eastside High School in 2022 and was ready to begin her senior year at the University of St. Francis, pursuing a degree in nursing.
Whittney excelled academically in high school and participated in track, volleyball and basketball. She was a 10-year 4-H member of DeKalb County. Whittney’s love for her family was boundless, and her friendships were a source of great happiness. She was truly “on fire for the Lord,” and her unwavering faith served as a powerful inspiration, motivating countless others to draw closer to Christ. Her genuine kindness and unwavering support made her an exceptional friend. With a perpetually happy soul, Whittney’s smile and laughter were infectious, leaving a lasting warmth on all who knew her.
She was a Patient Care Technician at Cameron Health, Angola, Indiana, in the Labor and Delivery Department. She was proud of recently becoming a Student Nursing Apprentice.
Whittney also worked at the Green Bean Coffee & Sweet Shop in Hamilton, Indiana and attended Life Changing Church in Angola, Indiana.
Surviving are her parents, Nathan J. and Alecia J. Pfefferkorn of Hamilton, Indiana; siblings, Gavin (Kelsey) Pfefferkorn of Garrett, Indiana and Aleigha Pfefferkorn of Hamilton, Indiana. Also surviving is her great-grandmother, Donna Harger of Hamilton, Indiana and grandparents, Paul and Dalene Pfefferkorn of Hamilton, Indiana and Pat and Suzie Tyler of Hamilton, Indiana, her boyfriend, Dylan Bredemeyer of Pleasant Lake, Indiana along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 4-7 PM, Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Pleasant Lake Community Church, 5142 S. Old US HWY 27, Pleasant Lake, Indiana 46779.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Pleasant Lake Community Church, Pleasant Lake, Indiana with Pastor Ryan Kain officiating. We encourage everyone to wear vibrant colors, rather than black, to honor Whittney’s joyful spirit and the colorful life she lived for Christ.
