With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Karin Cralle Turner, a cherished wife, stepmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Karin went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, last night after a courageous and grace-filled battle with pancreatic cancer.
Karin was more than a stepmother—she was a gift from God. She stepped into our lives with kindness, wisdom, and a nurturing heart that could calm any storm. Her love was steady, unwavering, and full of faith. She never made us feel like “step” anything. She embraced her role fully, with open arms and unconditional love, always pointing us toward light, even in dark times.
Her journey through cancer was marked by a strength that inspired everyone around her. Even in pain, Karin found ways to encourage others, to smile through the struggle, and to lift her prayers heavenward, never losing hope. She carried herself with a quiet dignity and a radiant faith that reminded us all that her trust was in something greater than this world. Her resilience, her grace under pressure, and her unshakable belief in the promises of God were a testament to the power of her spirit and the depth of her character.
Karin had a gentle way about her—a calming presence that made you feel safe and loved just by being near her. Whether it was her warm hugs, her thoughtful words, or the way she listened with her whole heart, she had a way of making people feel seen and valued. Her laughter was soft but contagious, and her eyes sparkled with the joy of someone who truly loved life and the people in it.
She was a woman of deep faith, and her love for Jesus was evident in everything she did. She lived the gospel—not just in words, but in action. Her compassion for others, her servant’s heart, and her consistent prayers will never be forgotten. Karin’s legacy is not just in the memories we hold, but in the example she set: to love generously, forgive quickly, and cling to God in all things.
The emptiness left by Karin’s departure is impossible to describe. We grieve deeply, yet we do not grieve without hope. We know that her suffering is over, and that she has been welcomed into the arms of her Savior. She is whole again, at peace, surrounded by a love far greater than we can comprehend.
To those who knew Karin, please remember her for the beauty she brought into this world—the love she shared, the prayers she offered, and the lives she touched. Hold tight to the memories, the moments, and the faith that carried her through. And let us honor her life by living ours with the same courage, kindness, and faith she showed us every single day.
We love you, Karin. We miss you more than words can express. But we rejoice in knowing you are finally home.
