Larry Olan Elliott, 85, of New Holland, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 9:29 p.m. at the Court House Manor Nursing Home where he had been a patient since July 8.
Larry was born July 8, 1940, in Ross County, Ohio to Wilbur Wayne and Pauline Porter Elliott. He was a1958 graduate of Clarksburg High School and lived most of his life in this community.
Before his retirement in 2003, he was an engineer and manager at Sugar Creek Packing Company for 35 years. Following his retirement, he assisted his son in the operation of Westin Foods until 2015.
Larry was a member of Grace Community Church. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. However, his greatest joy was his grandchildren and attending their events.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Duane E. Litteral, who died July 3, 2023; two brothers, Don Elliott and his wife, Janice, and Gene Elliott and his wife, Betty; a sister, Brenda Swindler and her husband, Tony and a brother-in-law, Greg Mather.
He is survived by his wife, the former Kay Kingery whom he married November 10, 1972; three children, Brian (Cynthia) Elliott of Washington Court House, Brett (Sallie) Elliott of Omaha, Nebraska and Jeff (Lisa) Litteral of Washington Court House; a daughter-in-law, Karin Litteral of New Holland; 14 grandchildren, Kalie (Branden) Gray, Marshall (Kristy) Foster, Rhinnon (Nick) Klepper, Chase (Una) McCoy, Mallory McCoy, Connor (Lyndee) Elliott, Clayton (Katie) Elliott, Jeffrey (Makenzie) Litteral, Drake (Heavyn Snyder) Litteral, Lilly (Jacob) Morrison, Malcom (Megan) Miller, Marissa (Ren) Lawwell, Allison (Alex) Rife and Gretchen (Russell Miller) Rife; 14 great grandchildren, Arthur Morrison, Foster Klepper, Helena and Nora Foster, Waylon McCoy, Otis, Arthur, Harper, Maeve and Woody Elliott, Michaela Miller, Bohan, Hayes and Natalie Lawwell, four brothers, Kenny Elliott, Bob (Angie) Elliott, Harold (Jan) Elliott and Earl (Debbie Elliott); four sisters, Marlene Mather, Connie (Pat) Coler, Carol (Bill) Elliott and Kathy (Ernie) Copeland and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Community Church, 525 Glenn Avenue, Washington Court House, Ohio with Jay Lucas, pastor at the church, officiating. Burial will follow in Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Monday from 4-8 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
