Born and raised in North Carolina, Connie was a beacon of compassion and kindness to all who knew her. Whether she was browsing her favorite stores during a shopping trip or sharing stories over coffee with her loved ones, Connie’s presence was magnetic—lighting up any room she entered. Her love for shopping wasn’t just about the items she brought home—it was about the experience, the memories made along the way, and the joy of treating the people she cared about most.

More than anything, Connie cherished family time. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Stacey Tanner, and her son, Marcus Deweese—guiding them with unwavering support, love, and strength throughout their lives. She was also a proud and doting grandmother to her precious granddaughters, Kailee and Addyson Tanner, whom she adored beyond measure. Her face would light up at the mention of their names, and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them or boast about their latest accomplishments.
