Nicholas “Nick” Joseph Pascullis, age 66, of Statesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Nick was born on November 9, 1958, in Savannah, Georgia, to the late Nicholas Joseph Pascullis Sr. and Martha Pinkston Pascullis (later Jones). He grew up with a strong work ethic, a deep sense of loyalty, and a heart full of quiet compassion—values that would shape the man he became and the legacy he leaves behind.
Nick spent the better part of his life behind the wheel, working as a truck driver, a career that suited his independent spirit and love of the open road. For many years, he was proudly employed by Braswell Trucking, where he developed lasting friendships and earned the respect of coworkers for his reliability, professionalism, and dedication. Rain or shine, Nick did his job with pride and never asked for recognition—he simply believed in doing what was right and doing it well.
Beyond his career, Nick was a man of steady habits and simple pleasures. He had an enduring love for classic country music, especially the sounds of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. He enjoyed fishing, watching old Westerns, and working on small engine repairs in his spare time. To those who knew him best, Nick was more than a quiet man—he was thoughtful, loyal, and full of quiet wisdom. His sense of humor was dry and often unexpected, delivered with a sly grin that let you know he was always paying attention.
Nick was a devoted family man, a proud father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. Though he didn’t often speak his feelings out loud, his actions made it clear that family was everything to him. Whether it was showing up when someone needed help moving, quietly paying for a friend’s groceries, or spending hours in the garage helping a nephew learn how to fix an old lawn mower, Nick believed in showing love through presence and action.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas Sr. and Martha, whose memory he carried with him every day.
Nick is survived by [insert names and relationships of surviving family members, such as children, siblings, grandchildren, etc.—please provide these if you’d like them included].
