It’s hard to believe and even harder to find the words… The loss of Tim Guy is one that hits deep for so many in our community. Tim was more than just a familiar face — he was a true example of dedication, leadership, and heart. He touched countless lives, whether through his work on the little league field or during his years of selfless service as a police officer.
For those who knew Tim, you know how much he cared. He didn’t just show up — he gave his all. To the kids on the baseball field, he wasn’t just a coach — he was a role model. He taught more than just how to throw or hit a ball. He taught character, respect, sportsmanship, and how to carry yourself with pride, no matter the scoreboard.
And then there was the uniform — the badge. Tim carried that with honor. As a police officer, he protected and served not just because it was his job, but because it was who he was. He looked out for people. He listened. He stood up for what was right. His presence brought a sense of safety and calm, and he treated everyone he met with fairness and compassion. That kind of service — that kind of man — doesn’t come around often.
To many of us, Tim was a mentor, a friend, a steady hand in a chaotic world. He always seemed to know what to say, how to lead, and how to lift others up. The impact he made, the lessons he taught, and the care he gave will live on in the people lucky enough to have crossed paths with him.
It’s a heavy loss, and our hearts go out to his family, his friends, his fellow officers, and every kid who ever played a game with Tim standing on the sidelines.
Rest easy, Tim. 💙 You gave so much, and we’re all better because of you. Thank you for everything — for your time, your wisdom, your courage, and your heart. You will be missed more than words can say, but your legacy will never be forgotten.
