In Loving Memory of Dora Alicia Ramos
September 8, 1987 – July 31, 2025
It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dora Alicia Ramos, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on July 31, 2025, at the age of 37. Born on September 8, 1987, in Memphis, Texas, and a longtime resident of Mission, Texas, Dora was a beacon of light in the lives of many—a woman whose presence radiated warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Dora was the embodiment of compassion and resilience. From a young age, she demonstrated a nurturing nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her heart was vast, her patience endless, and her love for family immeasurable. To know Dora was to experience genuine kindness; she gave freely and loved unconditionally, never asking for anything in return. Her generosity wasn’t limited to material things—she gave her time, her energy, her laughter, and most of all, her heart.
She carried herself with grace, even in the face of adversity. Life had not always been easy, but Dora’s strength was evident in the way she met each challenge with courage and an unshakable faith. Her perseverance and faith were sources of inspiration for many who knew her. She had the rare ability to make others feel seen, valued, and safe—whether through her reassuring words, her comforting hugs, or her quiet presence during life’s hardest moments.
Family was the cornerstone of Dora’s life. She was a devoted mother whose children were her entire world. She poured her soul into motherhood, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and life lessons that will continue to shape and strengthen her children in the years to come. Her greatest joy was watching them grow, supporting them at every step, and celebrating every triumph—big or small.
To her parents and siblings, Dora was a pillar of strength and unity. She was the kind of daughter who always called to check in, who never forgot a birthday, and who made every holiday feel like home. As a sister, she was a confidante, protector, and best friend. Her siblings remember her as someone who could turn any day around with her humor, her deep empathy, or simply the sound of her voice.
Dora’s presence extended well beyond her immediate family. She was a cherished friend to many in the Mission community, always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or brighten a day with her radiant smile. Whether volunteering at church events, attending community functions, or simply running errands, she left a mark wherever she went—a mark of authenticity, kindness, and love.
Professionally, Dora worked with a quiet diligence and a heart for service. Her colleagues admired her work ethic and admired her even more as a human being. She believed in treating everyone with respect, no matter their position, and this earned her deep loyalty and admiration from those she worked alongside.
Her sudden passing has left an irreplaceable void. The ache of her absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives she touched. Yet, even in grief, we find comfort in knowing that Dora’s spirit lives on in the love she gave, the lives she shaped, and the beautiful memories she left behind. She may no longer walk among us, but her legacy of compassion, strength, and grace endures in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Dora Alicia Ramos is survived by her beloved children, her loving parents, devoted siblings, extended family, and countless friends who will forever hold her memory close.
A celebration of her life will be held in Mission, Texas, where family, friends, and community members will gather to honor the remarkable woman she was and to share in the love and light she so freely gave.
May Dora rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love she so generously shared. Her spirit, her smile, and her heart will never be forgotten.
