It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Jon A. Alexander, 67, of Kenton, Ohio. Jon departed this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2025, at 4:43 p.m. at Hardin Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the warmth, prayers, and loving presence of his family.

A celebration of Jon’s life will be held at a later date to allow all who loved and knew him to gather in remembrance and honor. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is compassionately assisting the family with final arrangements during this time of mourning and reflection.

Jon was born on September 28, 1957, in Kenton, Ohio, the beloved son of the late Jack and Shirley (Barker) Alexander. His life was rooted in his hometown—a place that remained close to his heart throughout his years. Known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and deep loyalty, Jon lived a life that touched many in both big and small ways.

He married the love of his life, Terri Marino, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond built on love, partnership, and unwavering support. Terri survives him in Kenton, carrying forward the beautiful memories they created together over the years.

Jon’s life was marked by a devotion to family and a deep sense of responsibility and pride in his work and community. Whether he was tending to the needs of those around him, mentoring younger generations, or simply sharing a story over coffee, Jon had a way of making people feel seen and heard. His wit, wisdom, and calm demeanor made him a pillar of strength and guidance for those fortunate enough to know him.

A man of many talents and a strong work ethic, Jon could always be counted on when something needed to be built, repaired, or simply thought through with patience and practicality. He was as reliable as he was humble, never seeking praise but always deserving of it. His kindness and steady presence brought comfort to friends and family alike.

Above all else, Jon loved his family. His greatest joy came from the moments spent with loved ones—whether around a dinner table, enjoying a weekend project, or simply taking in the peace of a quiet evening. He embraced the role of husband, son, brother, and friend with grace and gratitude.

Jon leaves behind not only a loving wife but also extended family members, lifelong friends, and countless others who were impacted by his warmth, generosity, and unwavering integrity. Though his physical presence will be missed more than words can express, the legacy he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

As the family prepares to celebrate his life in the coming weeks, they invite all who loved Jon to reflect on the ways he made a difference, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. In this time of loss, may we all be reminded of the power of a life well-lived and the enduring impact of a kind and gentle soul.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that any memorial contributions be made in Jon’s name to a charity of choice or to a local community cause that Jon would have supported.

Rest peacefully, Jon. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever remembered.
