It is with immense sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Kollin Grover, an incoming 10th-grade student whose vibrant spirit, compassionate nature, and undeniable talent left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him. Kollin’s sudden and heartbreaking departure has left a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, teachers, teammates, and the entire school community.

Kollin was more than just a student—he was a bright light in the hallways, a dedicated athlete, and a true friend to many. He passionately participated in football, wrestling, and golf, giving his all on the field, on the mat, and on the course. His coaches and teammates admired his discipline, sportsmanship, and relentless drive to improve—not just as an athlete, but as a person. Kollin had a quiet strength and led by example, always lifting others with his encouragement, humor, and loyalty.

He was known for his infectious smile, quick wit, and the kind of laughter that made even the hardest days easier to bear. Whether he was helping a friend through a tough moment or cracking a joke in the locker room, Kollin made those around him feel seen, heard, and valued. He had a way of making people feel like they belonged, and his absence is felt deeply by all.

This loss is not just a personal tragedy for his loved ones—it is a communal one. The entire school family grieves the passing of someone who had so much potential and promise. As we remember Kollin, we hold onto the moments he shared with us, the legacy he leaves behind, and the deep imprint he made in such a short time.

To support our students and community during this incredibly difficult time, we will be offering a space for grieving and healing. Professional counseling staff will be available for students from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 21, and Tuesday, July 22, in the High School auditorium. Students seeking support are encouraged to enter through the flagpole doors just outside the auditorium.

Let us come together not only to mourn the loss of a remarkable young life but to honor the joy, warmth, and energy Kollin brought into this world. We ask that you keep Kollin’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this unimaginable time. May they find comfort in the outpouring of love from the community and strength in knowing how cherished Kollin was by all who knew him.
