In Loving Memory of Josh Estopare
With tender hearts and profound sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news that our dear friend and brother, Josh Estopare, has gone home to be with Jesus. His passing came unexpectedly, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. And yet, amidst the grief and pain, we hold tight to the unwavering hope of our faith — knowing that Josh is now fully healed, fully free, and embraced in the eternal arms of our Savior.
Josh was not just a member of our Celebrate Recovery family — he was a beacon. His presence radiated warmth, compassion, and authenticity. To know Josh was to feel seen, encouraged, and uplifted. He had a rare gift: the ability to make anyone feel welcome, understood, and valued, no matter where they came from or what they had been through. He carried his own scars, but instead of hiding them, he used them to shine light into the darkness for others.
In every testimony he shared, every small group he led or participated in, and every quiet moment of prayer or support, Josh’s life consistently pointed others to the redeeming power and hope found in Jesus Christ. He never shied away from being vulnerable about his struggles, and in doing so, he reminded us all that brokenness is not the end of the story — it’s often where grace begins. He exemplified what it meant to walk in recovery, not just from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups, but into freedom, transformation, and deep joy.
Josh had a heart that beat for community. He was the first to offer a hug, a kind word, or a listening ear. His laughter could fill a room, and his sincerity made even brief encounters meaningful. Whether you crossed paths with him at a Celebrate Recovery meeting, a Sunday service, or simply in passing, you knew you were in the presence of someone who loved God deeply and loved others well.
While our hearts ache and the tears flow freely, we do not grieve without hope. We believe with certainty that Josh has been welcomed into heaven with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” He is now in the presence of the One he trusted and followed so faithfully. His struggles are no more. His pain is gone. He is whole.
To Josh’s family and loved ones, we extend our deepest sympathies and love. Thank you for sharing him with us. His life has made a lasting impact, and we will carry his memory forward in all that we do. We will honor him by continuing the work he was so passionate about — helping others find healing, redemption, and new life in Christ.
Josh Estopare, thank you for walking this road with us. Thank you for showing us what grace in action looks like. We miss you dearly, but we rejoice knowing that this is not goodbye — it’s only see you later.
Until we meet again, rest easy in the arms of Jesus.
You are loved. You are remembered. You are home.
