A somber start to Memorial Day in Knox County as a Centerburg man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning, according to the Mount Gilead Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Zachary White, 32, of Centerburg, was identified as the passenger in the vehicle. He was transported by Mount Vernon Fire/EMS to Knox Community Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
